Ta3.com Oct. 2021: According to the law, President Zuzana Čaputová has a monthly of 12,240 euros gross. The President is entitled to lump sums of EUR 1327.76 per month, which are no longer taxable. Čaputová earns approximately 13,568 euros per month, making her the best-earning head of state so far.

Volby.sme.sk Dec 2019: The President receives a salary of four times the monthly salary of a Member of the National Council. After several years of freezing, at the end of 2018, the parliamentary salary was EUR 1961. So far, the President has received a gross monthly salary of EUR 7844. To this amount are added the flat-rate compensation of EUR 1327.76 per month. However, at the end of the year, MEPs did not support the freezing of salaries again. This will also increase the basis for calculating the President's salary. After the new one, the president should earn approximately EUR 9600 per month.
Since the salary of the constitutional officials is always calculated on the basis of the average wage for the past year, which is recalculated in April, the basic salary of the new president will be even higher, and could slightly exceed ten thousand euros.
